Trip Policy & Payment Terms (Ladakh Tours)

 1. Booking & Payment Terms

  •  A booking is confirmed only after receiving a deposit of 30%–50% of the total trip cost. 
  •  The remaining balance must be paid 30–45 days before the trip start date. 
  •  For bookings made within 30 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking. 

2. Cancellation Policy

We understand plans can change. Our cancellation terms are as follows:

  • 60+ days before departure: 90% refund (10% processing fee) 
  • 30–59 days before departure: 50% refund 
  • 15–29 days before departure: 25% refund 
  • Less than 15 days before departure: No refund 

✔ In case of extreme weather, road closures, or government restrictions, we will offer:

  •  Trip rescheduling, OR 
  •  Travel credit for future use 

✈️ 3. Changes to Booking

  •  Any changes to dates or itinerary are subject to availability. 
  •  Change requests made within 30 days of departure may incur additional charges. 
  •  We will always try to accommodate changes where possible. 

🏔️ 4. High-Altitude Travel Disclaimer (Important for Ladakh)

  •  Ladakh is a high-altitude region (10,000–18,000 ft). 
  •  Travelers should be in good physical condition. 
  •  We strongly recommend travel insurance covering: 
    •  Medical emergencies 
    •  Trip cancellations 
    •  High-altitude evacuation 

✔ Travelers participate at their own risk and must follow guide instructions for safety.

🧳 5. What’s Included / Not Included

✔ Included:

  •  Accommodation (as per itinerary) 
  • Meals (as per itinerary) 
  •  Local transport in Ladakh 
  •  Experienced local guides 
  •  Permits where required 

❌ Not Included:

  •  International flights 
  •  Domestic flight tickets
  •  Travel insurance 
  •  Personal expenses (shopping, tips, etc.) 
  •  Emergency evacuation costs (if not insured) 

🌦️ 6. Weather & Force Majeure Policy

  •  We are not responsible for delays or changes caused by: 
    •  Weather conditions 
    •  Landslides or road closures 
    •  Government restrictions 
    •  Natural events 

✔ In such cases, we will adjust the itinerary for safety or provide alternatives.
